Action requires three stages which I call L.P.A. (Learn, Process, and Apply). Transformation can only occur when you dive into each stage sequentially. For example, the first stage to recognize is your desire to learn, which means your willingness to read, listen, obtain information through God’s Word, and apply the messages you are taught at church, etc. In other words, your input determines how successful you will be towards a breakthrough. If you are hanging around individuals who are providing negative information or what I call anchors, the knowledge you need will be limited. If social media is your daily source of information, gains will be limited. If reading the Bible is a rarity, then drawing from God’s inspiration will be an echo of emptiness.
Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the LORD will be joyful. 21 The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive. 22 Discretion is a life-giving fountain to those who possess it, but discipline is wasted on fools (Proverbs 16:20-22).
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16,17 NIV).
Take some time to explore what God’s Word challenges us to do and what He has provided for us to be successful. List actions you must take to be successful according to the scripture provided. What action steps does God take to help us?
